A stand assist patient transport unit (sometimes called a sit-to-stand lift) helps move a person between bed, wheelchair, toilet, and chair. The user holds the handles and stands up with support, while the caregiver guides the rolling base. The result is safer transfers for the user and far less lifting strain for the caregiver.

The unit supports up to 400 lbs, has padded knee and seat pads, locking rear casters, and a compact 25″ width that fits through narrow doorways. At 61 lbs total weight, it transports easily in any large SUV or truck.

Getting It to You

Pickup or delivery

The unit weighs 61 lbs total and breaks down for transport. Customers with a large SUV or truck can pick up at our Plano store. We can also deliver throughout the DFW metroplex if pickup isn’t an option.

Delivery within 15 miles of our Plano store is $45. For locations beyond 15 miles, we add $20 for every additional 10 miles. Delivery is paid upfront when you reserve.

Pickup at the end of the rental period uses the same fee structure. Please call at least 72 hours before pickup so we can schedule it.

Service area

We deliver throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex including Plano, Frisco, McKinney, Allen, Richardson, Dallas, Fort Worth, Arlington, Irving, and surrounding areas.

For locations outside our standard area, call 214-227-2222 for a custom delivery quote.

Do I need a prescription?

No, you can rent directly without a doctor’s order.

Who is this for?

Anyone who needs help transferring between beds, wheelchairs, toilets, and chairs but can still bear some weight on their legs. The user must be able to grip the handles and follow simple instructions. For users who cannot bear any weight, a full patient lift is needed instead.

How is this different from a patient lift?

A stand assist requires the user to bear some weight on their legs and grip the handles. A patient lift uses a sling and lifts the user fully off the ground. Stand assist is for users who can stand with help. Patient lift is for users who can’t stand at all.

Can I pick it up myself?

Yes, with a large SUV or truck. The unit weighs 61 lbs and breaks down for transport. We can also deliver throughout DFW if pickup isn’t an option.

Will it fit through standard doorways?

Yes. The unit is 25″ wide which fits through standard 28″ doorways and most narrower interior doors. Measure your tightest doorway if you are unsure.

Can I extend my rental?

Yes. Rentals auto-renew at the original period rate. Call us anytime to confirm or change your rental period.

Rental Policies

Rental Terms & Conditions

Payment: Full rental period plus delivery fee paid upfront. We accept all major credit cards. HSA and FSA cards cannot be used directly, but we can provide an itemized receipt for reimbursement.
Renewal: Rentals auto-renew at the original period rate (weekly or monthly). Contact us to change or end your rental.
Cancellation: 15% cancellation fee applies after the order has been processed. Cancellations on the day of delivery are not refundable.
Cleaning & Returns: $35 cleaning fee if the unit is returned excessively dirty. Please call at least 72 hours before pickup to schedule the return.
Delivery Service Area: $45 base delivery within 15 miles of our Plano store. $20 added per additional 10 miles. Pickup at end of rental uses the same rate. No fee for self-pickup at our store.
Damage: Customer is responsible for damage beyond normal wear. Repairs or replacements are quoted at parts and labor cost.
