Hieline Medical offers manual hydraulic patient lift rentals for safe, dignified transfers between bed, wheelchair, commode, and chair. Our lift supports up to 400 lbs and uses a smooth hydraulic pump that requires minimal effort from the caregiver. The adjustable base spreads for stability around chairs and beds, and locking casters keep things secure during the transfer.
Customer pickup is available with a large SUV or truck. Delivery is also available throughout Dallas-Fort Worth. Most rentals are ready next day. Same-day rush delivery is $75 when our schedule allows. Call to confirm availability.

Common Questions
Do I need a prescription?
No, you can rent directly without a doctor’s order.
Who is this for?
A patient lift is for users who cannot bear weight on their legs. The user is fully supported by a sling and lifted off the ground for transfers. For users who can stand with help, a stand assist is the better choice.
How is this different from a stand assist?
A stand assist requires the user to grip handles and bear some weight on their legs. A patient lift uses a sling and lifts the user fully off the ground. It is for users who cannot stand at all.
Is the sling included?
Yes, a standard sling is included with every rental. The commode-opening sling is a separate $129 purchase if you need to transfer to and from a commode without changing slings.
Why is the commode sling not available for rent?
For sanitary reasons, commode-use slings are sold as a one-time purchase rather than rented. The standard sling is included with rental for general transfers.
Can I extend my rental?
Yes. Rentals auto-renew at the original period rate. Call us anytime to confirm or change your rental period.
Rental Policies
Rental Terms & Conditions
- Payment
- Full rental period plus delivery fee paid upfront. We accept all major credit cards. HSA and FSA cards cannot be used directly, but we can provide an itemized receipt for reimbursement.
- Renewal
- Rentals auto-renew at the original period rate (weekly or monthly). Contact us to change or end your rental.
- Cancellation
- 15% cancellation fee applies after the order has been processed. Cancellations on the day of delivery are not refundable.
- Cleaning & Returns
- $35 cleaning fee if the lift is returned excessively dirty. Please call at least 72 hours before pickup to schedule the return.
- Delivery Service Area
- $45 base delivery within 15 miles of our Plano store. $20 added per additional 10 miles. Pickup at end of rental uses the same rate. No fee for self-pickup at our store.
- Damage
- Customer is responsible for damage beyond normal wear. Repairs or replacements are quoted at parts and labor cost.
