FAQs
Common Questions
Do I need a prescription?
Yes. Oxygen concentrators are prescription devices under federal rules, so we need a valid prescription from your doctor before we can rent the unit. Call us and we will tell you what to send.
How loud is it?
It runs under 45 dB. Quieter than a normal conversation. Most users find the sound easy to ignore even in a bedroom at night.
Can I take it on a plane?
No. This is a stationary home concentrator. It is not a portable POC and is not approved for airline use. For air travel, you need a portable oxygen concentrator with FAA approval.
What’s included with the rental?
A standard short nasal cannula is included. A humidifier bottle ($14.95) and a 25 ft nasal cannula ($9.95) are available as one-time purchases. They are sold separately because items in direct contact with breathing air are not rented for sanitary reasons.
Is the cannula reusable?
No. Cannulas are personal-use items and should not be shared between users. We sell new cannulas at low cost ($9.95 for 25 ft) to ensure each user starts with a clean, unused product.
Can I extend my rental?
Yes. Rentals auto-renew at the original period rate. Call us anytime to confirm or change your rental period.
Rental Policies
Rental Terms & Conditions
- Payment
- Full rental period plus delivery fee paid upfront. We accept all major credit cards. HSA and FSA cards cannot be used directly, but we can provide an itemized receipt for reimbursement.
- Renewal
- Rentals auto-renew at the original period rate (weekly or monthly). Contact us to change or end your rental.
- Cancellation
- 15% cancellation fee applies after the order has been processed. Cancellations on the day of delivery are not refundable.
- Cleaning & Returns
- $35 cleaning fee if the unit is returned excessively dirty. Please call at least 72 hours before pickup to schedule the return.
- Delivery Service Area
- $45 base delivery within 15 miles of our Plano store. $20 added per additional 10 miles. Pickup at end of rental uses the same rate. No fee for self-pickup at our store.
- Damage
- Customer is responsible for damage beyond normal wear. Repairs or replacements are quoted at parts and labor cost.
