Hieline Medical offers lift recliner chair rentals throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. Our chair uses a power lift mechanism that helps users stand up and sit down with minimal strain, plus a smooth recline function for relaxation. Ideal for post-surgery recovery, senior mobility support, or anyone who needs help transitioning between sitting and standing.
Delivery is recommended due to size and weight. We deliver throughout Dallas-Fort Worth and most rentals are ready next day. Same-day rush delivery is $75 when our schedule allows. Call to confirm availability and schedule your delivery.

Common Questions
Do I need a prescription?
No, you can rent directly without a doctor’s order.
Does this chair recline fully flat?
No. This is a medical-grade 3-position lift chair that reclines to about 170 degrees. Close to flat but not fully flat. It is intended as a recliner for sitting, relaxing, and napping, not as a substitute for a hospital bed. If you need a chair or bed that lays completely flat, ask us about hospital bed rentals.
How does the lift mechanism work?
A motor in the base tilts the entire chair forward and up, gently raising the user toward a standing position. A handheld remote controls both the lift and the recline functions. The chair plugs into a standard wall outlet.
Can I pick it up myself?
The chair is large and heavy, so we strongly recommend delivery. If you have a large van or truck and want to pick up, call us first to confirm fit.
What’s the weight capacity?
The chair supports up to 300 lbs. For users above this weight, please call to discuss alternatives.
Is the upholstery easy to clean?
Yes. The chair is upholstered in vinyl (leatherette), which wipes clean with a damp cloth and is durable enough for daily use.
Can I extend my rental?
Yes. Rentals auto-renew at the original period rate. Call us anytime to confirm or change your rental period.
Rental Policies
Rental Terms & Conditions
- Payment
- Full rental period plus delivery fee paid upfront. We accept all major credit cards. HSA and FSA cards cannot be used directly, but we can provide an itemized receipt for reimbursement.
- Renewal
- Rentals auto-renew at the original period rate (weekly or monthly). Contact us to change or end your rental.
- Cancellation
- 15% cancellation fee applies after the order has been processed. Cancellations on the day of delivery are not refundable.
- Cleaning & Returns
- $35 cleaning fee if the chair is returned excessively dirty. Please call at least 72 hours before pickup to schedule the return.
- Delivery Service Area
- $45 base delivery within 15 miles of our Plano store. $20 added per additional 10 miles. Pickup at end of rental uses the same rate. Delivery is recommended due to size.
- Damage
- Customer is responsible for damage beyond normal wear. Repairs or replacements are quoted at parts and labor cost.
