Power Patient Lifts

Safe lifts. Every transfer.

View All →

Power patient lifts are the safest way to transfer a non-ambulatory patient from bed to chair, wheelchair, or commode. They eliminate manual lifting entirely, protecting both the patient from injury and the caregiver from back strain. Hieline carries the full range from Hoyer, Invacare, and Lumex — the most trusted names in the industry. When you call, real experts answer in real time.

Manual Patient Lifts

Reliable. Portable. Affordable.

View All →

Manual hydraulic lifts provide safe patient transfers without requiring batteries or charging. Ideal for occasional transfers, travel, or as a backup to a power lift. The caregiver operates a hand pump to raise and lower the patient.

Stand-Up Lifts

For patients who can bear some weight.

View All →

Stand-up lifts assist patients who retain the ability to bear some weight and can participate in the transfer. They support the patient as they rise to standing and pivot to the new seat. They are not appropriate for fully non-ambulatory patients.

Transfer Slings

The right sling makes every lift safer.

The sling is the most critical component of any patient lift system. The right sling must match the patient’s size, the lift model, and the type of transfer being performed. Using the wrong sling is a safety risk. Call us and we will help you match the right sling to your specific lift and patient.

Gait belts, transfer boards, and replacement batteries keep your lift system operating safely. Replacement batteries should be kept on hand for power lifts used in high-frequency transfer situations.

A power lift is for patients who cannot bear weight and need to be fully supported during the transfer. A stand-up lift assists patients who can bear some weight and participate in standing. Using a stand-up lift on a fully non-ambulatory patient is a safety risk.

Slings must be compatible with the lift model and sized to the patient. Call us with the lift model and the patient’s weight and we will identify compatible slings. Never use a sling that did not come with or is not approved for your specific lift model.

Most power patient lifts can be operated by a single trained caregiver. Some facilities and home care protocols recommend two caregivers for new patients or complex transfers. Follow the manufacturer’s guidelines for your specific lift model.

Standard power lifts support 400 to 450 lbs. Heavy duty and bariatric lifts support 600 to 700 lbs. Always choose a lift with at least a 20 percent margin above the patient’s current weight.

No prescription is required. We do not bill insurance or Medicare. All orders are paid directly. Call us if you have questions about financing options.
