Hieline Medical offers knee walker rentals for adults recovering from foot, ankle, or lower-leg injuries and surgery. A knee walker is faster and more comfortable than crutches and lets you keep weight off the injured leg while staying mobile around the house and out in the community. We carry standard and heavy duty models, both with adjustable handlebars, padded knee platform, and lockable brakes.

Self-pickup is available at our Plano store, and we deliver throughout Dallas-Fort Worth. Most rentals are ready same-day or next-day. Call to confirm availability.

A faster alternative to crutches

A knee walker (sometimes called a knee scooter) is a four-wheeled rolling device with a padded platform for your injured leg. You rest your shin and knee on the pad and propel yourself with your good leg. It is far more comfortable than crutches, easier to control, and lets you carry items in your hands or in an optional basket.

We carry standard and heavy duty knee walkers. Both fold quickly for car transport, have adjustable handlebars, and use dual hand brakes for control on inclines.

Delivery & Pickup

Getting It to You

Two easy options

Knee walkers fold quickly and fit in any car trunk, so most customers pick up at our Plano store. We can also deliver throughout the DFW metroplex if pickup is not convenient.

Delivery within 15 miles of our Plano store is $45. For locations beyond 15 miles, we add $40 for every additional 10 miles. Delivery is paid upfront when you reserve.

Pickup at the end of the rental period uses the same fee structure. Please call at least 72 hours before pickup so we can schedule it.

Service area

We deliver throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex including Plano, Frisco, McKinney, Allen, Richardson, Dallas, Fort Worth, Arlington, Irving, and surrounding areas.

For locations outside our standard area, call 214-227-2222 for a custom delivery quote.

No, you can rent directly without a doctor’s order.
Most users find a knee walker far more comfortable and easier than crutches. It rolls smoothly, lets your hands stay free, and removes the underarm fatigue that crutches cause. It’s especially helpful for longer recovery periods.
Standard supports up to 300 lbs and works for most adults. Heavy duty has a reinforced frame and wider knee platform and supports up to 400 lbs. Pricing is the same for both.
Yes. Knee walkers fold quickly and fit in any car trunk. Pickup is available at our Plano store. We can also deliver throughout DFW if you prefer.
A front basket (for the standard model only) and a foam knee pad cover (fits both models) are available as low-cost add-ons. Call to add them to your rental.

Policies

Rental Terms & Conditions

Payment

Full rental period plus delivery fee paid upfront. We accept all major credit cards. HSA and FSA cards cannot be used directly, but we can provide an itemized receipt for reimbursement.

Renewal

Rentals auto-renew at the original period rate (weekly or monthly). Contact us to change or end your rental.

Cancellation

15% cancellation fee applies after the order has been processed.

Cleaning & Returns

$35 cleaning fee if the walker is returned excessively dirty. Please call at least 72 hours before pickup if you arranged delivery and pickup.

Delivery Service Area

$45 base delivery within 15 miles of our Plano store. $40 added per additional 10 miles. Pickup at end of rental uses the same rate. No fee for self-pickup at our store.

Damage

Customer is responsible for damage beyond normal wear. Repairs or replacements are quoted at parts and labor cost.
